Environmental Considerations

Colocity recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually looking for ways of improving our performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods.

We encourage our customers and suppliers to join us in our endeavors.

As a large consumer of power at our facilities, we ensure that wherever possible the use of low power consumption equipment is utilized and that lighting within the facilities are controlled by motion sensors.

We will be shortly re-negotiating our power supply contracts and will looking at ensuring that a component of this future supply will be from renewable energy sources.

Environmentally a Data Centre managed well is more efficient than businesses operating stand alone.
